This book is a window into an adventure only fully understood by those who lived it. The pages are for the people who were there, and for the people who will ask what it was really like.

What is in the book

Each Photo Book is built from one trip only. A professional photographer travels with your group and shoots the adventure as it happens. Those frames are curated, not dumped. What makes the book is the edit: the light on the beach, the kitchen at work, the convoy in country most people never see.

Woven through those photographs are commissioned, hand-drawn sketches by Alejandro A. B., a close friend and local talent of Northern Baja. The drawings are made for the book. They are not stock art.

How it is made

The finished files go to Memento Press in San Francisco. This is not an online print factory. Josh Litwin and his studio have been making hand-bound photobooks since 2004. They print on fine paper, bind the books in house, and treat each edition like an object that has to last on a table, not in a drawer.

Josh’s care is the last step. Color, paper, cover, and binding are checked before anything leaves the studio. Then the book is packed and shipped to your door, a few weeks after you get home.
